First and only edition of this very scarce color manual intended to show the different effects of color on varying paper stocks. The book features fine platen-press work of varied design, based on twelve pure inks, and twenty-four more derived from mixtures of the initial group, supplied by the Ault & Wiborg Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio.
