Scientific facilities and information services of the Republic of Indonesia

A survey of scientific teaching, research, and information institutions of Indonesia, made during February - April 1959, almost a decade after Indonesia's independence was recognized by the Dutch. By 1959, after rebellions in Manado and Central Sumatra had collapsed, the country's scientific facilities had largely transitioned from being managed by Dutch scientists to Indonesian scientists.
