It's the candid autobiography of Patricia Phoenix, who played the feisty Elsie Tanner in the British soap opera Coronation Street. She was one of the originals, and was a regular lead character for decades. I read the book years ago and quite enjoyed it, because I was a fan. She's dead now. She reveals in the book how much her private life was like Tanner's.
