Zachary Bicknell (ca.1590-1636) and his family immigrated in 1635 from England to Weymouth, Massachusetts. Joshua Bicknell (1696-1752), direct descendant in the fourth generation, moved Barrington township near Warren, Bristol County, Rhode Island, and married three times. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York and elsewhere.
