This is a love story with dramatic turn of events more than an Indian cinema demands.

**Gist of the story:** A manager of a tea-estate in Yercaud, Salem, India, finds place in the heart of his owner's daughter for whom her cousin also has a passion.
The cousin, the villain, draws a conspiracy, when the heroine's father(tea-estate owner) is abroad for medical treatment. After troublesome episodes, including the setting on fire of the heroin's house, by the villain, the lead pair unite in wedding.
