Korno Siga, the mountain chief

This is a mission story from the 1860s and 70s. It starts with Dr. Scott's childhood in Illinois, continues through her marriage and travel to India as a missionary, and concludes with her return to the U.S. after her husbands death. The title comes from the name of one of the leading converts to Christianity at their mission station, whose story is included in the book.
