About This Book
This is a hugely important historical book. The borders of Pennsylvania and Virginia were disputed for a period of time--a war, Dunmore War, resulted. The dispute was finally settled by a survey in 1784-5 and resolved in 1786. Records in what is now Pennsylvania were lost and mixed with those of Virginia, resulting in a historical/genealogical "black hole"; one of many in our history. This book should be posted up to Google Books so that ALL can share in the invaluable information. All four of my primogenitor families are mixed up in this debacle. Steve Matthews: gr_llc@msn.com
