Casting sauvage

Damya leads a "Wild Casting" to find in the streets of Paris extras for the adaptation of the novel The Pain of Marguerite Duras, a story about the deportation. Through her Parisian wanderings, she encounters the social, physical and psychological pain of those she challenges. And then there is her story to her, broken dancer one evening of November 2015. Missionary for a challenging cast, Damya walks the streets of Paris in search of a hundred extras: efflanquées, defeats, these fragile shadows will embody the deportees in a film adapted from the Pain of Duras.By his presence so vivid in the world, her dancer's gestures, her alert and deep look, Damya moves in real encounter each fleeting exchange with the silhouettes that she spots - a walker who only retains time that wears his soles, Amalia, bird frail in a purple dress from the Gare Saint-Lazare, or this street juggler with the tunes of a Fellinian clown. But in the maze of the city, Damya is especially hopeful to find the boy a missed appointment - by the tragic force of a night in November 2015 - and whose memory obsessed him.--
