Pingali Lakshmi Kantham (1894-1972)

Sri Pingali Lakshmi Kantham has contributed significantly to Telugu Literature --as a poet ,as a researcher ,an academician , a teacher , a critic , a broadcaster and a writer. From his bright beginnings in Bandar under the tutelage of Sri Chellapilla Venkateswara Sastry , his illustrious guru , to the various positions he occupied in the academia and advisory bodies , and co authoring, with sri Katuri Venkateswara Rao an acclaimed poetical work 'Soundaranandamu' , make this biography interesting. The author (also his son) is a noted writer on Bhagavan Sri Raman Maharshi.
