Higher education general information survey (HEGIS), 1982

The Higher Education General Information Survey (HEGIS) XVII package consists of several sub-surveys, one of which is entitled 'Financial Statistics of Institutions of Higher Education for Fiscal Year Ending 1982'. The universe of the survey consists of 3,294 institutions of higher education in the United States and its outlying areas. The file contains final edited data for 2,988 institutions and estimates for the remaining 306 institutions. Data include current funds revenues by source, current funds expenditures by function, physical plant assets, indebtedness on physical plant, endowment assets, and changes in fund balances. An institution by institution format was selected.
