The National Security Council

"This work sets forth, for the first time, a legal history of the National Security Council (NSC). In literal terms, the "NSC" is the official membership of the National Security Council. In common parlance, however, and for brevity's sake, the term "NSC" commonly refers not merely to official membership, but to the NSC system--including membership, functions, substructures, processes, and staff.
