Gladstane who will perform this evening in thwo characters, viz: Lucretia Borgia in the thrilling drama of that name, and Margery! in the petite comedy entitled "Rough Diamond," supported by the full strength of the Star Company acknowledged to be the best, in every respect, which has appeared in Washington for many years. Friday evening, Sept. 9, 1859 the performance will commence with the thrilling drama by John M. Weston, in three acts, entitled "Lucretia Borgia" ... Comic song by Stuart Robson. Overture by the orchestra. To conclude with the amusing petite comedy entitled "The Rough Diamond" ... Ice water in abundance ...
