No filme, o bigode

A photobook about old barbershops in downtown Curitiba, made with analogue photos. The project aims to record and rescue the history of old barbershops - which unite the movement of the center with the intimacy of the neighborhood - and also the use of analogue photography. Between 2019 and 2020, photographer Vinícius Antunes and author Ana Letícia Zimmermann visited 10 old barbershops in the downtown part of the city. The graphically recorded how these locations are a meeting point and how they are resisting new formats of modern barbershops that have emerged in recent years. The book tells the story of ten traditional barbershop and their owners, through photos and texts from testimonies with the person who founded or cares for the barbershop today.
