About This Book

The exhibition presents a dialogue between Polish and Brazilian design on such themes as furniture, glass, porcelain, tradition and innovation, as well as graphic design. The exhibition features historical works from the Polish School of Posters, as well as pieces by contemporary Brazilian graphic designers. The historical posters, provided by the Muzeum Plakatu w Wilanowie (Museum of the Poster of Wilanów), are examples of works that were used for the promotion of Poland abroad. The contemporary graphic designers, invited to participate in the exhibition, created unpublished posters, specially designed for this exhibition, also with the motto of promoting their respective countries. To represent Brazil: Bruno Porto, Fabio Lopez, Rico Lins, Grande Circular and Estudio Mola.
