Five very different students at a private high school are brought together under mysterious circumstances: the popular and kind Antoine Duboi; the physically awkward Saralinda de la Flor, who has a big crush on him; Antoine's best friend, the wealthy, arrogant Evangeline Song; Martha McKenyon, the openly, defiantly gay transfer student; and Caleb Colchester Jr., the brooding, reclusive son of a famous doctor.
