This issue begins the new school year with a welcome to the new freshmen and freshettes and a brief orientation to the various awards and scholarships available at the college. Two students contribute travel diaries of their experiences during the summer. One attended the Chicago World's Fair and the other had an interesting commute to the college from Pennsylvania. Also included in this issue are photographs of various locations on campus. The athletics column reports on the renewed enthusiasm for the rugby and soccer teams. While the campus news pertains to the social activities of the first month on campus. The Alumni Record contains updates on reunions and alumni updates. The Macdonald Institute column comments on the freshettes initiation.
