Fundación Herdez

The book documents the process of restoration and recovery of the colonial building which today houses one of the most important bibliographical and newspaper collections on food in Mexico: the Herdez Foundation. The authors belong to various educational and cultural institutions like the UNAM, the Proyecto Templo Mayor, amongst others. This document also is a tribute to its founder Enrique Hernández-Pons and to Jaime Muñoz de Baena, its first director, as well as for Ph. D. in architecture Luis Ortiz Macedo, exemplary figure in the history of architecture in Mexico.
