Wayne Coulter had been riding with a gang until he was wounded in an ambush. He escaped the clutches of the law but might have died had he not been picked up by Henry Mallen, whose granddaughter, Julie, nursed him back to health. But Mallen and Julie were in trouble themselves, and when Mallen was shot dead, Coulter set out to fight her enemies.
