About This Book

Tehillat HaShem ("praise of God" in Hebrew) is the name of a prayer-book (siddur in Hebrew) used for Jewish services in synagogues, and privately among Hasidic Jews, specifically in the Chabad-Lubavitch community. It is based on the siddur called Torah Ohr, edited by Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi (1745-1812) the founder of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement, and follows the teachings of Rabbi Isaac Luria. It has been published by the Kehot publishing house, belonging to the Chabad-Lubavitch movement since the late 1940s.
