Based on a set of real-life events, Cobra Gold tells the story of the world's biggest ever bank robbery. Beirut, 1976. An SAS Major has tasked his men with stealing terrorist documents hidden in a bank vault. But when SAS veteran Luke Kilbride presents his plan for the mission, the Major tears it to pieces. Kilbride doesn't appreciate this jumped-up officer telling him he is a fool. Neither do the men in his unit. Together, they decide to prove the Major wrong and rob the bank anyway, becoming fabulously rich in the process.
