Cataloging exhibition publications

This is the fourth title on cataloging of exhibition publications following "Title and Statement of Responsibility", "Notes", and "Subject Headings". All of these publications are used in conjunction with national cataloging resources. Exhibition publications often require more use of a cataloger's judgment, and more intervention in terms of transposing, omitting, and supplying data. Guidance is provided about title page information, authors, artists as main entries, role of curators and corporate bodies as well as examples of these situations. AACR2 rules and the Library of Congress Rule Interpretations are provided.
