The first issue of Laura Walker's handwritten and hand-drawn perzine, Welcome to Bend, describes the landscape of her hometown in Central Oregon, including its roundabout art, its lava flows, its "rogue animals," and its interesting inhabitants - including a lawnchair balloonist, pregnant man, and meth-selling taco shop workers.
