Coronary heart disease : a progress report, 1976

Abstract: Written to update the 1971 monograph Coronary Heart Disease A New Zealand Report (The National Heart Foundation of New Zealand), the report informs the medical profession and the public of new developments in the etiology and control of coronary heart disease. Some of the aspects considered are ethnic factors, lipids and diet, excess weight, physical activity, cigarette smoking, psychosocial factors, hypertension, sudden death, and coronary arteriography and surgery. Recommendations are presented.
