An account of Camp 8 (Lager Garmischparten-Kirchen) by a former officer of a Mountain Division and the Allgemeinen SS (M-AA-509 translates as Male, Automatic Arrest, no. 509). Served as German camp commander, subservient to the American Third Army command, of the former barracks (Jaegerkaserne) which included up to 5,000 functionaries of the Nazi Party as inmates.
