Tillfälliga möten

Swedish photographer Nils Degerman's previous book, 'Nu är rummet ditt/The Room is Now Yours' from 1990 is one of the finest Swedish art/photography books from that decade. Now, Degerman has published a second book, small in size, filled with poetic observations of patterns, lines and forms observed in everyday places. A jumble of tyre marks, shadows and shades, some more tyre marks, sections of building facades. flaking paint, a diagonal handrail that cuts the view of monolithic structure and it goes on with other sets of juxtapositions. In 'Tillfälliga möten' (Random observations) Degerman's voice is soft and inviting.
