What is the role of interaction design in the multiple areas of the project? The book was created with the aim of giving an adequate answer to this question, which poses an apparently simple question, but which actually evokes historical and current complexities. The most recent reflections related to research and teaching have in fact underlined the fundamental role of interactive design, a transversal discipline, which adopts an open methodology with respect to product design, visual communication and services. Today, contemporary design cannot do without this experience, and it is precisely in this sense that the book analyzes the relationship between interaction and design at different scales, offering insights on the role of man immersed in the continuous transformation of technology.
