Ron Walden's life has taken him from Idaho, where he was born, to Alaska, where he retired to fish, fly airplanes, and write. Ron grew up working in his family's business until he joined the U.S. Air Force. As an aircraft mechanic and flight engineer, Mr. Walden traveled the world. His Air Force travels and experiences allowed him to learn about and appreciate different lands, cultures, and people; a fascination that lives with him today.
