This summer issue's articles range from uniting the British Empire, art appreciation, the study of parasites, the value of agricultural exhibitions, morality in rural life, to parasitic plants. Agricultural articles pertain to crop rotation, Professor Bang's tuberculosis testing, and agricultural problems in the Midwest. The Horticultural column features the success of the Ontario's fruit exhibit in England. The Macdonald Institute column features articles on the influence of home life, and travel memories of Scotland's Trossacks and Spain. Alumni news is available in the Our Old Boys column and this issue features an update and photograph of the members of the O. A. C. Football team of 1888.
