1900 Regatta Stamp Souvenir (Two Copies)

Two Regatta Souvenir Stamp books with tan colored paper covers, stapled together with two staples on the left side. The first one printed in black ink on the front and the back, with an advertisement for "Post Card Hall" at Whitman's Book Store on the back. This copy has more stamps left than the other, and does not have parchment pages in between the stamp pages. The second copy is printed with red ink on the covers. The back cover seems to have been printed upside down, and simply says, "Compliments of" with some blank lines left unwritten. This copy only has two pages of stamps, and has pieces of parchment left. Size: 2" x 5.25"<div><br /></div><div>*After researching artifacts from both the 1899 and 1901 (among others) - and mostly using the dates listed on the stamps as a guide - it was determined that these souvenir booklets had to be from the Seventh Annual Astoria Regatta in 1900.</div>
