Media and peace

"This paper takes the example of Fiji, in the South Pacific, and shows how the media generated tensions and conflicts. The Fiji Times, the only newspaper in that country for almost a century, is taken as the major example. It also explains how the foreign media, mainly Australian and New Zealand, also aggravated national poblems. It end with suggestions for how media can contribute to peace and harmony in the world"-- P. iii.
