Phoenix (New Blood)

Two bodies are discovered in a remote part of the Pennines. One, Phil Leech, is Karen Sharpe's DS, the other an informant, Fiona Mitchell. They have been shot. Karen should have been at a midnight rendezvous with them but she had been drowning her sorrows and was passed out at home instead.
