Burle Marx e o Recife

This book analyzes 15 squares in Recife designed by the most celebrated Brazilian landscaper, Roberto Burle Marx, in order to contribute to the awareness of the importance of preserving these public spaces. In the work, in addition to the contextualization of the creation of each garden, beautiful images are gathered, accompanied by statements of users or simple passers-by who, in general, affirm how in these public spaces renew their love for nature. This publication is a tool to be used by teachers, architects and other professionals, seeking to achieve the objective that fits the landscaper's view on the need and importance of heritage education.
