A 56-year-old man from the Brabantse Loon on Sand has corona. The virus has reached our country. The week before, the Brabant pubs were full, and in polonaise the virus was probably spread like wildfire. Three weeks later the café was empty but the ICs were full. North Brabant became the corona hearth in the Netherlands. Brabant proved to be the hardest hit province. 27 februari 2020: Tijdens een live uitzending op tv krijgt minister van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport Bruno Bruins een briefje in zijn handen gedrukt. Een 56-jarige man uit het Brabantse Loon op Zand heeft corona. Het virus heeft ons land bereikt. De week daarvoor stonden de Brabantse kroegen vol. In polonaise werd het virus vermoedelijk als een lopend vuurtje verspreid. Drie weken later waren de café leeg maar de IC's vol. Noord-Brabant werd de coronabrandhaard in Nederland. Brabant bleek de zwaarst getroffen provincie. Reden voor fotograaf en Stadskunstenaar van Helmond Tahné Kleijn om alle getroffenen in beeld te brengen.
