About This Book

A space-object-transterritorial book, that stands at the crossroads of different forms of visual representation: the written word, photography and design. And more than situating or interweaving different disciplines, three authors reflect, rehearse, print, exemplify and conceptualize the genre of illustrated books with photography: photobooks. The text - in a poetic tone - talks about the creation, structure, morphology of photobooks and their possibilities of reading. The written word is associated with photos that reproduce, in some cases, the same content from different points of view; at other times-spaces antagonistic themes are opposed to generate meanings through opposition. However, in both cases, the purpose is to build series or sequences of images, which, in turn, are developed through graphic design .The book was published by two publishers: one located in Buenos Aires; the other, in Madrid. In both books, the design of the covers varies. The black tone distinguishes the edition made in Latin America and its cover indicates the parts of a book: head, forehead, mouth and foot; the opposite part replicates the colophon of the obverse.
