"Psycho Mansion" are selections comprising literary, social and satirical writings extracted from the crime, detective & thriller Urdu novels of Ibn-e-Safi (real name Israr Ahmad), b. 1928. The compiler Khurram Ali Shafeeq explores the hidden messages of serious nature in the otherwise popular writings of Ibn-e-Safi. He proves that by using the popular medium of novel and that too, detective & crime novel, , Ibn-e-Safi tried to bring social reform to the society. Although excerpted from Ibn-e-Safi's detective novels under the two extremely popular series: Jaasoosi Duniyaa & 'Imraan Series, the writings are complete and can be read & enjoyed in isolation without the necessary reference to the main plot.
