About This Book

Kicking at Clouds is a personal zine that documents life in occupied Palestine; the zine includes correspondence between internationals that had come to help citizens and provides a history of Palestine. The letters and emails exchanged between internationals speak on shootings, refugee camps, the wall, and protests. These pieces are interspersed with photographs of what they saw in Palestine and hand drawn maps and illustrations. This zine includes a further reading list on Palestine and its history. As the author says, the writing is "intentionally personal."
