The growth of "fast" publication of documents in print or on the various websites of Europa, with no long-term repository or stable URL, not deposited in the EU Bookshop, or in the repositories that form the basis of the registers of the institutions, is alarming. Librarians traditionally preserved resources. Many of these resources have lasting value and significance and should be protected and preserved for current and future generations.
