"Retrospective exhibition of artist Stornaíolo (b. Ecuador) one of the most representative artists of contemporary conceptual art. The exhibition represents 25 years of artistic production (1980- 2005), showing the evolution of his playful and humorous dimension and the strong influence of the old Flemish masters like Rembrandt, Brugel and Hieronymus Bosch or most recent artists like Egon Schiele and Mark Ernst. The artist, who is also an illustrator, drawer and engraver denounces through the grotesque personages that populate his deeply anxious creations the social injustice of the contemporary world.
