An unusual journey

Eight-year-old Petya goes on a journey to Siberia with his father, a mechanic employed in the building of a railway stretching from Lake Baikal to the Amur River and on to the Pacific Ocean. Includes a section of photographs showing the natural life of the area and some of the steps in building a railroad.
