About This Book
The object of this telephone survey was to elicit public opinion on compulsory religious instruction in schools in Quebec, and on the establishment of alternative schools where religious instruction would not occur. Items include opinions on the establishment of such schools, the funding of such schools, the teaching of religion in primary or secondary schools, who should decide whether students receive courses in religion, and whether the respondent would send his/her children to a neutral school. Demographic variables are also included. Data are available in card-image format with one card per case.
