Concerning the status of political prisoners

This pamphlet aimed to draw public attention to the problems surrounding the imprisonment of many of England's militant suffragists. The author summarizes many of the government's actions and responses to the suffrage agitation, and thereby provides a sketch of the suffrage struggle in England, as well as an example of the public's response to it.
