Chavela Vargas

Chavela Vargas was a Mexican musician and singer who "lived all 70 years of her life intensely." The zine talks about her wild times traveling to Costa Rica and Cuba, her friendship with Frida Kahlo, and her coming out as a lesbian in her 1980s. The series itself is a collection of hand-drawn and written mini zines that document the lives of famous butch lesbians from around the world. The first volume is about musicians.
