The Nutrition Country Profiles (NCP) provide concise analytical summaries describing the food and nutrition situation in individual countries, with background statistics on food-related factors such as agricultural production, and selected economic and demographic indicators. The profiles present consistent and comparable statistical data in a standard format. This format combines graphics, tables and maps under the following headings: geography; population; povery, education & health; agricultural production, land use & food security; economy; trends in energy requirements & supplies; trends in food supplies; food consumption; anthropometric data; micronutrient deficiencies. Includes maps and charts.
