By-Laws, Company "H" 1st Regiment Infantry, 2d Brigade, O.N.G.

6x3.75 green/grey, 16 page booklet, titled "By-Laws, Company H, 1st Regiment Infantry, 2d Brigade O.N.G".  Enclosed in the pages is a receipt to Private McKean from the Financial Secretary of the company for dues from Jan 1 to Mar 31, 1888.  The Brigade is described as O.S.M. but in most places the "S" and "M" are crossed out and handwritten in are the letters "N" and "G".  Written across the front of the booklet is Private W.H. McKean in two places.  Size: 3.75" x 6"<div><br /></div><div>*William H. McKean is buried in Clatsop Plains Pioneer Cemetery, here in Clatsop County, Oregon. He was born in 1869, and died in 1889, age 20! This book was printed in 1885 - would love to know the story of this young man's death! </div>
