Trabalho doméstico no Brasil

Summary of actions developed by the Secretariat for the Promotion of Racial Equality Policies (Secretaria de Políticas de Promoção da Igualdade Racial - SEPPIR) between 2006 and 2009 in order to put the rights of domestic workers in Brazil into effect. It presents an overview of how domestic work theme has turned into a public issue and has become institutionalized into the Brazilian Government' and other social actors' agendas since the development od the Programa Trabalho Cidadão (Labour Citizen Programme).
