Carlos Moreira

Retrospective of photography of Sao Paulo by Moreira (b. Brazil, 1936) . Moreira has had numerous shows and also teaches at the University of Sao Paulo and M2 Studio. Book Exhibition was held at SESC, Bom Retiro. Photographer Moreira has devoted himself to docuemnt the city of Sao Paulo and itstransformations, taking photos of the metropolis since the beginning of his career. This close relationship is born in the decade of 1960's, in the city that is his creative territory. The forms of architecture and the population that occupies the buildings and sidewalks, the monuments, the modernization of architecture, trade and urban life in all its complexity were shot by his lens.
