The King's steward

John Peter Daleiden, 1847 - 1930, writes his disguised autobiography, using "George Schumann" as the subject of the story, in place of himself, and Philadelphia as his home instead of his real domicile in Chicago. The story chronicles the twin stewardships of both his family of 10 children, and the business he built--the largest Catholic church goods and religious articles business in America.
