In the spirit of their age

This is the story of three generations of Bill Thomas's forebears, centering on his great-grandparents Rev Thomas and Henrietta (nee Felstead) Thomas, their parents and their children from the mid-nineteenth to mid-twentieth centuries in Australia and New Zealand. The book follows the extended familys evolution from Pioneers and British colonials to South Pacific nation citizens in a unique and dynamic setting, in which their lives were affected by vast social and cultural changes.
