Ely Thélot (1976) is a sociologist and poet. He has been awarded prizes at many poetry contests including prix de la Radio Nationale de Haïti, prix de la Télévision Nationale de Haïti, prix littéraire de la francophonie, and prix Jean Brierre de poésie (Fondation AfricAmerica).
