"After graduating from the University of Montreal's Occupational Therapy Department, Christiane Shelbi's-Maurois worked with children with cerebral palsy at the Victor-Done School in Montreal for three years. In 1980, she set off on a one-year trip to specialized cent res, hospitals and schools in places as far apart as Sweden and California, gathering a great deal of information on the latest advances in seating, mobility and communication aids for children and adults with cerebral palsy.
